Joshua Howell serves as Programs Assistant for READ USA, supporting the Chief Programs Officer. In this role, he manages the administrative operations of all programs, with a particular focus on the organization’s largest program, the Literacy Tutoring Program. Josh plays a vital role in supporting both staff and participants, ensuring that READ USA’s programs run smoothly and effectively.
Based in Jacksonville, Florida, Joshua is also a singer-songwriter with more than two decades of experience captivating audiences with his soulful voice and introspective lyrics. His original music has earned him a devoted following across Northeast Florida. In addition to performing, he is a dedicated vocal and performance coach, mentoring emerging artists and helping them refine their skills and discover their own voices. Whether judging Jax Idol, hosting local events, or guiding aspiring musicians, Joshua brings the same passion and dedication to his music and his community work.
